So, in the spirit of sharing all of my travel adventures, I will let you in on my next trip, one which takes me far from my home into the wilds of...Minnesota. Yes, it's dangerous, I know, but someone has to visit my brother, David, up in his cold, dreary home.
Actually (apparently) the Twin Cities have more sunny days than Milwaukee (because of the lake, or something).
I'm going to visit my big brother (aww) partially because it's his birthday on Tuesday (the big 2-0!), and partially because it's just nice to visit him (aww)/get out of the house for the weekend. I'm using this trip as a sort of "test run" for various weekend trips I plan on taking when I finally get to Lugano.
Here are some plans:
Friday - I leave Milwaukee at around 10:30am so I get to Minneapolis at around 6:00pm. Going out to dinner? Not sure.
Saturday - I would love love love to go to Historic Fort Snelling, but the weather might not want to allow me this opportunity, so we may end up going to the Minnesota Historical Society Center, which, I imagine would be equally as historic and history-filled.
Sunday - No idea. I was thinking about the Zoo, but that is apparently actually outside of the city, and therefore out of reach for those of us who have to use public transportation to get around. I guess I'll leave this one up to David to figure out, but if anyone else has any ideas, I'm all ears.
Monday - Leave the Twin Cities at 1:00pm, arrive in Milwaukee at around 8:30pm.
So now that I've given you more information than you wanted to know about my weekend in Minnesota, it's time to end this entry.

Have a great time, and tell David happy birthday from me!
Go to Como Zoo! It's inside the city and well within reach via public transportation.
I'm a Minnesota native. Half of my siblings live in St. Paul. The other half in Minneapolis.
